Software developer at N/A
Built the entire MCP server (apps/mcp/) that makes NutriMex accessible from
any AI chatbot. Used mcp-use (sponsor tool) to define 6 tools and 4
interactive generative UI widgets in React:
- show-weekly-diet — 7-day tabbed meal calendar with macronutrient breakdowns,
glycemic index badges, and diabetes-friendly Mexican foods (nopal, frijoles,
avena, chayote)
- show-ticket-comparison — real-time price comparison table across OXXO,
7-Eleven, Walmart Express, and Soriana with color-coded cheapest/most
expensive highlighting
- show-nutrition-chart — SVG donut chart for macro distribution + weekly
calorie bar chart vs. daily target
- show-shopping-cart — optimized purchase ticket showing the cheapest store,
quantities, and COFEPRIS safety badges per product
- check-cofepris — product safety lookup against Mexico's
NOM-051-SCFI/SSA1-2010 food labeling regulation (COFEPRIS database)
- find-healthy-options — budget-aware healthy food recommendations by health
goal and location
Integrated the Zod schema validation for all tool inputs. Deployed to Manufact
Cloud (sponsor platform) making the server accessible at a public MCP
endpoint that connects directly to ChatGPT and Claude via the Model Context
Protocol. Debugged and resolved a Fly.io port routing issue to get the
production deployment working.
Sponsor tools used: mcp-use, Manufact Cloud
APIs/standards used: MCP protocol (Anthropic), COFEPRIS NOM-051, Google Gemini
(via agent layer)

Data Visualization Engineer at Zillow Group
Led product strategy and defined the core NutriMex user experience. Structured
and maintained the nutritionist knowledge base in Notion, organizing weekly
diet plans, COFEPRIS nutritional guidelines, and Mexican food data that the AI
agent queries at runtime. Used the Notion API to expose this knowledge base
as a structured data source for the LangGraph agent, ensuring the AI's dietary
hallucinated data.
Tools used: Notion, Notion API, Google Gemini (knowledge base prompting)
I help people see the structure hiding in their data, whether that's marketing attribution flows, data lineage graphs for infrastructure migrations, or turning complex analytics pipelines into clear visual narratives.
I build interactive visualizations with D3.js and work across the stack with Databricks, dbt, and Tableau. Currently supporting marketing analytics for several Lines of Business at Zillow, making sense of multi-channel attribution and campaign performance.
Former math olympiad competitor turned physics-to-data-science career changer. I run La Matemaga (science communication + personal brand) and organize Google Developer Groups in the Monterrey. AWS Community Builder in ML since 2023.
Let's build something that makes the invisible visible 🔍✨
Data Science, Analytics & AI, Science Communication, Data Visualization
Currently tinkering with: multi-agent content systems using Claude's Agent SDK, agentic data discovery tools, and automation workflows that blend LLMs with production data pipelines.

Learn Analyst at Digital Hub
Responsible for the data architecture behind NutriMex. Sourced, cleaned, and
organized the nutritional datasets — including Mexican convenience store
product catalogs, pricing data across OXXO, 7-Eleven, Walmart Express, and
Soriana, and COFEPRIS product safety classifications. Structured this data for
ingestion into the Notion database and the agent's tool layer, ensuring the
ticket comparisons and shopping cart recommendations reflect real MXN pricing
and accurate NOM-051 safety labels.
Tools used: Notion API, data sourcing and structuring for LangGraph agent
I'm a Solutions Analyst at Digital Hub Monterrey, leading Semillero de Talento, a 100% scholarship program that trains the next generation of tech talent in Nuevo León. I transitioned from clinical nutrition into tech, and I use that story to inspire others to make bold career pivots.
I'm an AWS Community Builder (AI Engineering) and Harvard Aspire Leaders Program Campus Leader. I build at the intersection of education, product, and AI, from platform development to agentic automations. I share my journey as @magalyinthecloud.
Generative UI and agentic interfaces for education. LLM-powered workflows with n8n and Make.com. AI in HR and talent development. Measuring learning outcomes with data. Community building for underrepresented groups in tech. Expanding Semillero de Talento's impact through smarter AI-assisted selection and personalized learning paths.
Building Semillero de Talento, a fully scholarshipped 15-week tech talent program in Monterrey, powered by a custom platform (React + Supabase + Lovable) with automated candidate scoring, transactional emails, and AI-assisted selection. Also experimenting with agentic workflows using n8n for education ops. Currently exploring generative UI to make the learner experience more dynamic.
